Loyalty Programs
This is the heart of LoyaltyPass. Here you create and manage the programs your customers join. You can have multiple programs running at the same time.
Choosing a Program Type
When you create a new program, you'll pick one of two types:
Points
Customers earn points with every purchase. When they have enough, they redeem points for a reward. Great for retail and restaurants.
Membership
Customers hold a membership pass. Staff check them in on each visit. You can set an expiry date. Great for gyms, clubs, and subscription models.
What You Can Customise
Once your program is created, you can configure every detail from the program's settings page:

| Starting Balance | Give new members a welcome bonus of points to get them started |
| Membership Expiry | Set when memberships expire (e.g. after 1 year) - applies to Membership programs only |
| Logo | Upload your brand mark - shown on the wallet pass |
| Hero Banner | The large banner on the pass is generated for you - just type a headline and a caption, and it's built automatically in your brand colours |
| Theme | Pick from a set of ready-made colour themes - choose the one closest to your brand |
| Store Locations | Which of your locations this program is valid at |
| Pass Labels | Rename what appears on the pass - what you call points, the member name field, and the member ID field |
| Referral Program | Reward customers for bringing in friends (see below) |
Referral Program
Turn your customers into your best marketers. When referrals are switched on, every customer gets a unique referral code on their pass. When a friend uses that code to sign up, both the existing customer and the new one earn bonus points - the amounts are set by you.
Issuing Passes to Customers
From the programs list, click Issue Pass next to any program to send passes directly to customers. You can issue them one at a time or in bulk by uploading a list.
Managing Your Programs
| Action | What happens |
|---|---|
| Edit | Change any setting at any time. Updates apply to all existing passes immediately. |
| Activate / Deactivate | Pause a program without deleting it. Useful for seasonal programs. |
| Delete | Permanently removes the program and all passes linked to it. |
